family INFORMATION day, sat 16th SEPTEMBER 2023, BIRMINGHAM

Registration is now OPEN for our annual free family information day at Touchbase Pears centre in Birmingham on Saturday 16th September 2023, 10am - 4pm. 

​There will be fun activities for kids of all ages (including siblings) to enable them to build friendships and memories within their Usher community. Parents will have the chance to hear from expert speakers and connect, share experiences and learn from each other. Professionals working with children and young people with Usher syndrome are also welcome to attend for free, to learn how they can best support those living with Usher syndrome

USHTHIS uk SUMMER CAMP is BACK FOR SECOND YEAR!

We will be hosting the second UK USHthis summer camp at Fairplay House in Essex (nr. Chelmsford) from 23rd - 28th July 2023. This camp is delivered in partnership with Ava's Voice (USA charity empowering youth with Usher syndrome), and with funding from Deafblind UK.
Young people aged 11-25yrs living with Usher syndrome have the opportunity to connect during this 5-day residential experience, forming friendships with peers and mentors, and acquiring skills, strategies and confidence that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to bring our community together!

USHER KIDS UK JOINS FORCES WITH CUREUSHER TO CREATE THE USHER COLLABORATION GROUP (UCG)
​Purpose: To bring together professional organisations representing and/or serving the Usher syndrome community, to ensure the needs of the community are understood and met
